Program! You
can receive up

50%
reimbursement
of paid wages
when you hire
and train a
person
referred to
you by
Iow@Work.
A simple
contract must
be signed
prior to the
employee's
start
date.
The length of
the training
period
and total
amount
reimbursed
will
depend upon
the difficulty
of the job.

Try
out an
individual
referred to
you by
Iow@Work for
up to 30 days
at no cost to
you! Your
obligation?
Evaluate the
employee and
give us
feedback on
their
performance.
There is
little risk as
the employee
is on our
payroll and
not
yours.
If you believe
they would be
a valued
employee you
can retain
them!

details!
LIMITED
INTERNSHIPS
This
program
assists
someone who
would not
normally be
hired by an
employer for
lack of
experience and
provides them
with exposure
to work and
the
requirements
for successful
job retention
needed to
enhance
long-term
employability.
The employer
must be
willing to
invest time in
skill
building. Iow@Work pays the individual's
wages and
covers the
individual
with Workers'
Compensation
during the
limited
internship
period which
must not
exceed 500
hours.
