Iow@Work
Region 9 includes Clinton, Jackson, Muscatine and
Scott Counties in Iowa. Iow@Work operates under a
variety of funding sources and for most
programs there is a combination of local, state,
and federal regulations and governance.
Chief Elected
Officials
The Chief Elected
Officials are made up of representatives from each
of the four counties and the City of Davenport and
they provide guidance and oversight of Workforce
Investment Act Programs.
Regional Workforce
Investment Board
The Regional Workforce
Investment Board is made up of 14 voting members
representing business, labor and local community
members from the four county area. They assist
with the planning and oversight of the workforce
system and partners.

by the Local Elected Officials and Regional Board

Worker Programs. Iow@Work
is the department of EICCD which staffs and
operates Workforce programs described in this web
site.
Iowa Workforce
Development
The state agency that
oversees workforce programs in Iowa and provides
partner services such as unemployment compensation
and job placement.

that provides federal funding and oversees
workforce programs in Iowa.
